Abstract

Abstract

In this article, we reflect on experiences that shaped and continue to shape Janet’s academic communications. Using Currere as a process of self-reflection along with duoethnography as a process of shared reflection, we inquired into Janet’s communication experiences as familial and institutional curriculum- making. Writing, art and dialogue were used to support a shifting of identity stories. We returned to childhood experiences to reflect on and to bring forward learnings to understand present day curriculum making.
